May 22nd (part 2)

On my last post, ended by "yeah, it was the first joy" It means that there would be the 2nd, 3rd even the 100th joy I got on the day. Hihi Okay. Now, I'm letting you to know what the 2nd joy is.

I still couldn't sure my self if last night gift was true. I remembered that Uda Dodi had told me that he wanted to give me a camera but it might not be on my 17th birthday, he said that his finance wasn't well. yup, he means so much to us. He did make a proud for our family. Sayang Uda Dodi{}. Okay, back to topic. I kept learning how to operate this camera, took so many pictures in my tidy room. But in a sudden, my mom screamed. "Ina! Ina! Ina! Bangun. Itu banyak temen kamu diluar" hah? I was surprised for the 2nd time, I peeked from the window, the 1st object I saw was Dhito who was riding a motor cycle and Arsi who was starring at my house. I couldn't help my self not to laugh. That was so funny. Their surprise was already seen by me. I even heard the one who said "yah, nyokapnya udh tau tuh" hahahahaha that-was-so-funny. But, I acted like a hollywood star who didn't know anything but on script. Hehe. Yeah. Lucy, Anyt, Lery, Ghaisa, Fadhil, Arsi, Dhito, Riyan decided to knock the door and sang "happy birthday, Mai. Happy Birthday Mai" showing a pudding birthday which 4 candles was plugged on it (I don't know why 4). Oooh. It was so surprising. I was smiling. I even was shedding a tear ( I was a hollywood star, aren't I) But they lately knew this surprise was failed. Hahaha. We just kept enjoying the party (party?). Yeah the party. Pudding as the appetizer, Nasi Uduk as the main course, homemade lemon tea as the dessert, poker game as the great show, and crazy little thing called love as the last appearance. What a party!

May 22nd (part 1)

Hi Folks!
How are you doing?
It's been so long time I didn't take part on blogging
And a special date had been thru
May 22nd, 2011

You may know why I named it as a special date
Yup, 17 years ago I was exactly born on May 22nd
17 years ago. It means this is the 17th times I celebrate birthday (celebrate? Not at all :p)
17 years, it's legal age. I'm allowed to have an identity card, driving license, having a right to take part in  election.

A simple conclusion, Me, Maidina Rahmawati has stood as the legal one. Yeah, actually I'm not so ready to be named as a legal one. Yeah, in 17 years I'm growing, I become a childish, selfish and emotional girl. They may be caused by my status as the last daughter. But now, I don't wanna talk about my preparation on my 17.

I'm writing now, to tell you may be to show off another joy I got on the day.

I couldn't sleep at all. I didn't know why, sometimes I thought about what kind of surprise would my friends give to me. Sadly it didn't really come. 

As usual, I had to open the gate when my brother, Uda Dodi arrived at home, because my room is the nearest from the gate. While I was opening the gate, I actually thought what kind of surprise he would do on my birthday. I even thought that my friends had such a cooperation with him to make a surprise haha. But lately I had to erase those thoughts on my mind. 

And this is a huge deal. I entered my room and tried to close my eyes, Uda dodi suddenly knocked the door, he entered my room, asked me for a cellphone charger, and didn't switch the light on, he grabbed my cellphone charger and put a box that I didn't really know what it was, and said "Selamat Ulang Tahun ya" I was totally surprised, I turned the light on, and! Guess what?!?!?! A box which labeled "NIKON D3100" was standing on my desk. Oh no! I couldn't even help my self not to scream. I ran to his room to say thanks, gave him a hug and asked him if it was true. He just did some smiles. Ooooh. Yeah, it was the first joy.
